Brant Phillips
Brant has been a real estate entrepreneur for over 15+ years now and has worn many hats. While he’s most commonly known for some of his accomplishments as a real estate investor (he’s flipped hundreds of homes, owns a large portfolio of mixed assets including Commercial, Mobile Home Parks, RV Parks and multiple land developments), business coach and speaker, many people don’t realize that Brant has been running a construction company for well over a decade that has completed well over 1,000 projects for his various companies, partners and a handful of clients.
During this time, Brant has put together a team of trusted contractors (many have been working with Brant for well over a decade) that have proven themselves trustworthy, reliable and capable to perform quality work in their respective trades. Brant has also heard an incredible amount of contractor ‘horror stories’ from friends and other investors over the years and those stories are what led him to launch the Cost Plus Construction Company.
Brant’s vision was to create a way for others to have access to trustworthy and reliable contractors with honest and fair pricing. Another way to put it, “this company is very similar to an Angi’s List model, that we are only utilizing contractors that I have personally used myself. These are guys that I know and trust to work on my projects, so that’s the testing ground so to speak so we can make sure they’re a good fit for other customers as well. The big key here as well, is that my team is managing them and holding them accountable with their commitments to our clients to uphold our reputation and standards.”

Elijah brings over 15 years of sales experience, with a main focus on real estate investments. During a successful decade as the owner of a residential construction company, he rehabbed more than 2,000 single-family homes and pioneered cutting-edge estimating software for industry efficiency. In addition to his work in construction and software, he has personally invested in over 60 single-family flips and rentals.
Elijah’s relationship with Brant over the last 10 years has led to his involvement in helping to build out the sales and investor relations department at Cost Plus Construction. He is a seasoned professional known for innovation, industry connections, and a discerning eye for layout changes, design and smart reductions to help keep projects close to the desired budget.
Elijah is also a proud Husband and father of four and he enjoys writing as a hobby and playing disc golf with his children.
Adam W. Metzler is an accomplished real estate and construction professional with more than a decade of proven success leading projects, guiding clients, and driving quality results. Before his leadership in construction and real estate, Adam spent over 10 years managing key accounts for a Fortune 100 company—developing the strategic, communication, and accountability skills that continue to define his professional excellence today.
Now bringing this dual experience to Cost Plus Construction, Adam serves as a value-driven leader and strategic partner, focused on delivering exceptional quality through transparency, precision, and integrity. His three-sided perspective as a contractor, real estate agent, and investor allows him to provide clients with comprehensive solutions and measurable value that extend far beyond the job site.

With over two decades of experience in the construction industry, German brings a wealth of expertise and knowledge to our team. Beyond his professional accomplishments, German finds joy in his personal life as a devoted husband and loving father to his young child. When he’s not overseeing construction projects, you’ll often find him on the soccer field, indulging in his favorite pastime.

Our Process
Cost Plus Construction Company provides construction services to our clients from our team of reputable contractors with a cost plus pricing approach on all materials and labor.
We work to obtain construction labor and materials at the markets lowest possible prices and only charge fair and reasonable mark-ups (aka: No price gouging). We also provide our customers with weekly spending reports to show exactly what costs have occurred for materials and labor so there are no surprises in regards to pricing.
